Regular care, done properly
A boat that is washed regularly stays easier to look after. Salt dries into a crust that holds moisture against the surface, and grime left in the non-skid is harder to shift the longer it sits. A scheduled Maintenance Wash deals with both before they build up.
The Maintenance Wash is for boats already kept to a good standard. It starts with a fresh-water rinse to lift salt and loose dirt, then a marine-safe wash from the top of the vessel down. The non-skid deck and cockpit are cleaned, exterior vinyl and seating are wiped down, glass and clears are cleaned and stainless is wiped over. Everything finishes with a full rinse and dry, so the boat is left clean rather than spotted.
When a wash is not enough
If the boat has gone a while between cleans, a wash will not reset it. Noticeable grime, water spots, deck buildup or light staining call for the Exterior Detail first. Once the boat is back to a good standard, a regular Maintenance Wash keeps it there.

Which boats is the Maintenance Wash for?
Boats that are already cleaned regularly and kept to a good standard, with mostly light salt, dust or water spotting. If the boat has noticeable grime, deck buildup or staining, the Exterior Detail is the better starting point, and a Maintenance Wash can keep it there afterwards.

It is $13 per foot of vessel length, so a 30 ft boat is $390. The estimator works it out for your length, and we confirm the final price after we have seen a few photos of the boat.
How often should a boat be washed?
It depends on how often the boat is used and where it is kept. Salt and bird droppings do the most harm when they are left to sit, so boats used every week or berthed in exposed pens benefit from a more regular schedule. Tell us how you use the boat and we will suggest a routine.
