Two details, one standard
Some boats need more than a wash. Water spots set, grime works into the non-skid, and stainless and vinyl lose their finish. A detail resets the boat, and we offer it two ways.
The Exterior Detail is a deeper reset of the outside of the boat. It includes everything in the Maintenance Wash, plus a full exterior wash, a detailed non-skid and deck clean, hull sides and topsides cleaned, stainless and hardware cleaned and finished, a deep clean of exterior vinyl, light stain and water-spot treatment, and a detailed rinse and dry.
The Full Interior + Exterior Detail is our complete VELA detail, inside and out. It includes everything in the Exterior Detail, plus a full interior vacuum, cabin and galley surfaces, the head, interior seating and upholstery, interior glass, accessible cupboards and storage, light carpet and upholstery cleaning, light mould and spot treatment, and a final presentation clean.
Protect & Shine
Any detail can finish with Protect & Shine, from $199. It adds lasting shine and UV protection to freshly cleaned exterior surfaces and vinyl, with a protective finishing treatment on smooth gelcoat and fibreglass, UV protection on exterior vinyl and a final gloss finish.
Priced per foot, confirmed from photos
The Exterior Detail is $15 per foot and the Full Detail is $30 per foot. A 30 ft boat is $450 or $900, and $1,099 for a Full Detail with Protect & Shine. Prices assume normal condition. We confirm the final price from a few photos of the boat, and heavy staining, mould, excessive buildup or specialist restoration may need a custom quote.
Process
How the work is done.
Photos first, so we can confirm the boat's condition and the price before the day.
Fresh-water rinse and a full marine-safe exterior wash.
Detailed non-skid and deck clean, hull sides and topsides cleaned, and stainless and hardware finished.
Light stain and water-spot treatment, and a deep clean of exterior vinyl.
For a Full Detail, the interior: vacuum, cabin and galley surfaces, head, upholstery, interior glass and storage.
Detailed rinse and dry, and a final presentation clean before we hand the boat back.

What is the difference between the Exterior Detail and the Full Detail?
The Exterior Detail is a deeper reset of the outside of the boat, for vessels that need more than a maintenance wash. The Full Detail includes everything in the Exterior Detail, plus the interior: vacuum, cabin surfaces, seating and upholstery, galley, head, interior glass, accessible storage, light carpet and upholstery cleaning, and light mould and spot treatment.

My boat has mould inside. Can you help?
The Full Detail includes light mould and spot treatment. If the mould is heavy or widespread, send us a few photos on WhatsApp and we will give you a custom quote.
